- K. & I drove to Cincinnati & then on to Franklin, TN. It was a wonderful trip, the initial course of which involved some family-time & a flurry of spare moments with Norman Finkelstein (& a whole, delightful evening w/him & Alice). The second leg took us to see/meet (K. had only met Kevin) the McKendrees & bested even my visit last September, largely because K. was there, too. It’s my favorite place to be. If anyone in Williamson Co. has $50,000.00 & a house/apartment to rent for less than $1000.00/mo., please let me know. I accept your offer.
- For Callum will be available for purchase at the Shellac, et al. shows in Chicago & the Dismemberment Plan, et al. shows in DC on 4/27 & 4/28. Proceeds from all 4 shows will go to benefit Callum Robbins’ care fund.
- Joel Bettridge’s That Abrupt Here, a collection of poems published by The Cultural Society, will be available by the end of April. If you’d like to be notified of this honorable event, please email me via the email link in the sidebar to your right.
- Next weekend I’m reading at Oklahoma State University at Stillwater. I’ve been to OKC, Tulsa, & Norman but never Stillwater, & am looking forward to seeing the sites & catching up with my old friends there.
